The Habitat for Humanity club at Juniata College is currently in the process of planning two-week service trip to El Salvador for May 2012. Milliard and Linda Fuller founded habitat for Humanity International in 1976 with the goal of eradicating substandard housing nd homelessness throughout the world. The organization currently works in over 80 countries, and sends delegations to these areas through its Global Village program. Juniata College has a strong campus chapter, with three hundred total members. The club has been involved locally throughout central Pennsylvania, annually completes a spring break trip to a southern location, and has completed four successful Global Village trips in the past, most recently to Yerevan, Armenia. This delegation, which will be led by a Juniata alumna, is now planning its trip to Central America. The cost of the trip will be close to $2500 per person, which includes the costs of airfare, in country living expenses, and support for the local affiliate. Your donation will support an incredible building experience for the team and help provide vital funds to the work Habitat for Humanity El Salvador is doing. This year, were asking for help giving to the people who really need it. Recent natural disasters in El Salvador have left total deficits of 630,000 houses, or 51% of the total population.

Waiver: I recognize that running a trail race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I also know that there will be hazards, debris, and poor footing on the course and assume the risk for running/walking on it. I also assume any or all other risks associated with running/walking or attending the race including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the affect of the weather, getting lost, wildlife, and insect attacks and all such risks being known to and appreciated by me. Knowing these facts, and in consideration of your accepting my entry fee, I hereby for myself, my heirs, executers, administrators or anyone else who might claim on my behalf, covenant not to sue, and waive, release and discharge Habitat For Humanity, Juniata College, all municipalities in which the event is held, the race organizer, course officials, all other organizations directly or indirectly associated with the race, any and all sponsors including their agents, employees, assigns or anyone acting for on their behalf, or anyone else associated in any way with the race, for any or all claims or liability for death, personal injury or property damage of any kind or nature whatsoever arising out of or in the course of, my participation in the event(s).
