Flat and fast! Competitive and recreational runners alike will love this quick course through residential Marion. Timers at each mile and a water stop will be featured. Participants of the 5K Fun Walk will enjoy the chance to get out with friends for a morning stroll in this non-competitive event. Walkers will share the course with runners, finishing among the spectators in City Square Park. |

| 10/23/2010 Muddy Monster Cross Country Run 15K Run, 5K Run/Walk, 1 Mile Youth Run Seminole Valley - Cedar Rapids IA Bob Andresen 319-329-5456 http://muddymonster.com info@muddymonster.com The Muddy Monster Cross Country Run is a Family friendly, professionally managed event. The scenic and spectator friendly course is run almost entirely on grass, trails, and dirt roads. Costumes are encouraged and awards will be provided to the top overall costumes for both adults and kids. Activities will take place for the kids during the race including pumpkin decorating, balloon tying, and crafts. Early registration is encouraged to guarantee a t-shirt but late registration is available Friday night at Genghis Grill Westside from 5:30-8:30pm or race day beginning at 8am. The Muddy Monster is brought to you by The Achilles Heel, a non-profile 501(c)(3) corporation, who has partnered with Variety, the children’s charity of Iowa, to support kids in your local community. |
