The race location is Bootleg Canyon in Boulder City, Nevada. The races will start at 7 am. The 34m racers will do two loops of the canyon race route. The 25K runners will only complete one loop. Additional Information ItпїЅs called the World Of Hurt for a reasonпїЅ this race course is tough! It was designed by three crazy ultra athletes to challenge even the most seasoned runner. It is hilly, hot, rocky, sandy, steep, narrow, and single track trail. There is an 8 hour cut off time (34m runners will need to have started their second loop by the 4 hour point). There will be basic aid and water stations every 4.5 to 5.1 miles. All races will be required to start the race with at least 20 oz of water or fluid in a bottle or container. Race limit is 150 runners for both races. This is an USATF sanctioned event. Fees: Ultra $85 before 9/20, then $100. 25k $45 before 9/20, then $60. |
