08/01/2009 Quartz Mountain Diamondback 100 Road Bike Ride 100 Altus Oklahoma Paul Sutherland 580-471-5756 (Cell) www.geocities.com/dbk100/great_outdoors.html dbk100@yahoo.com The 2nd annual Quartz Mountain Diamondback 100 will be held August 1, 2009 in Altus, Oklahoma. The ride will begin and finish at the Altus city reservoir. There will be a 100 mile, 62 mile and 40 mile ride through the scenic flatlands of Southwest Oklahoma. There will also be a 10 mile family fun ride around the Altus reservoir. The ride will begin at 7 am and will transit the communities of Altus, Martha, Granite, Quartz Mountain State Park, Blair and Friendship, Oklahoma. This ride is the perfect tune-up for the Hotter 'N Hell 100!! SAG and medical support will be provided for all participants. Bring the entire family and enjoy the beautiful Quartz Mountain State Park area for the day or for the whole weekend.
