of Cherokee County

The Service League of Cherokee County is a volunteer group of 75 women who work year-round to raise funds for local needy children. Funds raised during this event and other activities, including Riverfest, provides for necessities like clothing, eyeglasses, along with camps, scholarships and much more.

 

LOCATION: Historic Downtown Canton, Georgia

REGISTRATION: Registration prior to March 19, 2010 is $20.00 for the 5K race and $25.00 beginning March
20 through race day. Registration for the 1-Mile Fun Run is $15.00 anytime. Those
wishing to contribute and get a shirt without running may register prior to March 19 as a
“Phantom Runner” for $15.00. Race Day Registration will begin at 7 A.M. at the gazebo
downtown. Pre-race package pickup will be from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. on Friday, March 26,
2010 at the gazebo in downtown Canton. For more registration information call Julie Prather-Peppers at 770-605-3834.

T-SHIRTS: All racers will receive a cotton short-sleeve t-shirt with a color graphic represented by the
logo in the upper left-hand corner of this registration form.

COURSE: The race course starts at the gazebo in Downtown Canton and ends at Brown Park
following a route through the historic Downtown and surrounding neighborhood.

RACE TIMES: The 5K will begin at 8 A.M. and the 1-Mile Fun Run will begin at 9 A.M.

AWARDS: Top Male & Female, Top Male & Female Masters, Top 2 Males & Females in various age
categories. A Spirit Award will be given to the school with the most participants.

ADDITIONALLY: The race will be held rain or shine and no refunds are available.
