The foundation events also help support Global Soccer Ministries International a non-for profit organization with outreach programs in Romania, Guatemala and Jamaica to at risk kids and adults. Global Soccer Ministries International (GSM) was founded in 2001 by Paul Banta, a former NCAA Division I and international soccer coach and clinician. Beautiful, natural greenery. Begin and end at Atalaya Castle. Course is a loop, all flat, paved path. |

All unpaved, some dirt/gravel road, some horse trails, but mostly single-track hiking/biking trails with some creek crossings, some swinging bridge crossings, and one road crossing. Water & gatorade will be provided along the half-marathon course at approximately 3.7, 5.6, 7.3, 9.1 & 11.5 miles. Half-Marathon (13.1 miles) trail run starts at 8:30 AM. 5-mile trail run starts at 9:00 AM T-shirts given to first 300 entrants Awards given to top 3 open male & female, top Masters, & top 3 age groups. All over the world, local communities come together for the purpose of promoting awareness about the sexual, physical, and emotional violence people endure everyday. Each and every one of us is encouraged to take a stand and speak out against this violence so people everywhere will feel safe and free. For the past two years, over 300 people participated in this important event. Join us as we Take Back the Night.
