Oakton High School Student's organized Sunshine for Soldiers' first annual charity walk! This walk will take place on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 16, 2009. You can be sponsored per lap or receive individual donations. It costs $15.00 to register, and you will receive an event t-shirt. The money you raise from donations can be used toward your registration fee. The top donor will receive a prize and be recognized on our website. The money raised at this event will be used by Sunshine for Soldiers to purchase items for the troops and cover shipping costs.

The event is no longer at Huntley meadows park we will walk on the W & OD trail, so our opening and closing will be at First Baptist church in Herndon, VA (681 elden St. in Herndon, VA) We will also meet at 2, the opening will be at 2:30, the walk will be from 3:00-5:00, and we'll have food at 5:00.
