RACE DAY INFORMATION:
All pre-registered runners
Must pick up their packets at Shadow Valley Elementary
School the morning of the race. Address: 4911 S. 1500 E.
packet pick-up: 7:OO a.m. at the school
day-of-race registration: 7:OO a.m. at the school
5K start: 8:OO a.m. at the school
l-mile start: 8:15 a.m. at the school
awards ceremony: approx. 9:OO a.m. at the Ogden Clinic.

AWARDS & PRIZES:
1st place overall M & F: free pair of running shoes from Peak
performance & custom trophy.
End - 1st overall M & F: custom trophy
Top three in each age division M & F: ribbon
drawing for lots of fun prizes after the race at the Ogden
Clinic. Must be present to win.

THE COURSE:
5K: Uphill the first 1 /2 mile, then flat
and downhill to the finish. Water stop at 1.5 miles.
1-mile: Mostly downhill. Please stay sidewalks as much as
possible during the 1 -mile walk/run.

PARKING:
Parking is very limited at the school. Please park
on the south side of the Dee Events Center parking lot. It is a
1/2-mile walk/jog to the school from there. Or have someone
drop you off at the school. The Dee Events Center parking
lot is very close to the Ogden Clinic finish area, as well.

Please notify garydsmith@runwalkjog.com if you experience problems with online registration.  A processing fee of $1.50 will be added to the registration fee for the mile event and elementary age participants.  This fee will be $2.00 for all other 5K participants.

WAIVER In consideration of the acceptance of my entry in the Ogden Clinic Shadow Valley Elementary 5K / 1 -mile race, I, the undersigned participant and, if less than 18 years of age, may parent or guardian, intending to be legally bound, do hereby for ourselves, and heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, forever waive, release and discharge any and all rights, claims and actions for damages that we or any of us may have, or that may hereafter accrue to us or any of us, against any and all persons, organizations and entities associated with the event, including but not limited to the Ogden Clinic, Shadow Valley Elementary School, Ogden City, Weber County, any and all sponsors of the event, the state of Utah, volunteers, and individual race organizers, arising out of or in connection with my entry in, travel to, participation in, and returning from the Ogden Clinic Shadow Valley Elementary 5K / I -mile race. I attest and verify that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained to participate in this event and that I understand that I am responsible for my own safety while participating in this event, and the post-race activities. I also give my permission for the free use of my name and/or pictures in broadcasts, telecasts, newspapers, posters, advertising, etc. I understand that the entry fees are non-refundable.
