It features a flat race course along the Ohio River on paved streets. More and 180 ran last year. Entry fees are $15 before June 7; $20 thereafter and on race day. Races start at 8:30 a.m. next to the SuperQuik convenience store in downtown Russell. You may choose to do either 5K or 10K. T-shirts and goodie bags to all paid participants. Trophies for the top winners in both races, men's and women's divisions, and to the top 3 finishers in 14 age categories from 14 and under to 75 and over. Medals to all 10 and under participants.Wheelchair participants welcome; trophy to the winner. Strollers welcome. |
