For this 5K event, race organizers hope to attract hundreds of walkers and runners. Great food and prizes will be available and registrants are assured top quality dri-fit shirts. The event also serves as an important place to gather and celebrate colon cancer survivors, remember those lost to this disease and honor those who are still battling. Local sponsors include Cajun Road Runners Club, Fleet Feet Baton Rogue, KSMB FM 94.5, OncoLogics Inc., University of Louisiana Lafayette Alumni Association and Super 1 Foods.
