Thanks to the YWCA, help is available for those in need so that they may heal in the aftermath of this tragedy. To raise awareness for sexual assault victims and to raise funds for victim assistance programs, the YWCA is hosting the 2 Minute 5K and Kiddie K! Join us on Saturday, April 21, at the Regatta Park and Pavilion near the Chesapeake Boathouse, located at 725 S. Lincoln Boulevard. Registration starts at 8. The Kiddie K starts at 8:45 a.m. and the 2 Minute 5K starts at 9:15 a.m. Leading up to the race, each participant will have his or her own personal web page to help raise money to support YWCA programs to help victims of sexual assault and to help prevention education programs.
