I have recently started running and it feels GREAT. I am 51 yrs. old. I am 25 lbs. overweigt. About 5 months ago I started fast walking/power walking and some slow running, then I kicked up my speed and distance, now I mostly run, often fast and long. I have only lost a few pounds which is discouraging, although like I said, I feel so great! can anyone tell me, if I should run more or is 40 min. of running a day enough? Or maybe I just need to realize that it may take a few more months before I really see a big weight loss? thanks for all your stories, they are inspirational!!
