The 2.5 mile Into the Mud Challenge course includes exciting obstacles such as mud pits and muddy crawls. Race alone or with a group of friends as a team of four . . . costumes are encouraged!! The Muddy Dash kids race is a 1-mile, fun and muddy course for 5-12 year olds. The first 250 participants registered are guaranteed a t-shirt and all Muddy Dash participants receive a t-shirt. The Into the Mud Challenge a unique, muddy, fun event for all. This year the event will be held in three locations. There will be a Certified 5K & Remembrance Walk held in Auburn at the Central Maine Community College, a non-certified 5K & Remembrance Walk in Farmington and a Remembrance Walk at the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School track. Registration for the event is now open, visit www.ahch.org to register. This year we are implementing an on-line giving tool that will allow participants to create their own giving page to share with family and friends. Proceeds from the HH 5K & Remembrance Walk are dedicated to supporting care at the Hospice House for patients who do not have adequate health insurance. In one year, 59 patients without adequate health insurance received care totaling more than $69,000.

The scenic trek starts and ends at the Maryland Zoo and includes run-through visits of Druid Hill Park and around Lake Montebello.
